BA7.... Forest and Waves

Whilst completing a little market research, I stumbled across this little quirky design company on the web.



Forest and Waves is a small design company, based in Vacoover. Estabalished in 2012, it was set up by

Edward Juan, moving from the world of animated film, to design in order to celebrate his love of nature and the countryside. Working alongside sewer, Nicole Bobkick, Forest and waves create bold colourful designs with an illustration feel.

I really love the vibrancy of the companies designs. Their work is more of a celebration of nature and i is clear that composition is clearly thought through.

One of the things I really love about the company is that all of their designs, print and fabric is hand printed and created, adding a personal touch which I am keen to bring into my work. 

I have never been big on the the whole massively produced prints and like the smaller more intimate companies, which seem to be thriving in this current climate.
