What a productive day I have had today!
Today, I wanted to get lots of work done, so I made myself sit down with a timer and completed a different section of work every 20 minutes. I switched between.. planning and organising, drawing and painting and lesson planning.
This worked really well and I was very pleased to sort out so much. I managed to begin my painted sketchbook focusing on the colour of the original photos in my primary images based around decorative architecture with swirling and curls. It is hard to stay focused on this because I do not enjoy doing it as much as the other parts of the project, so completing just 20 minute chunks made it a lot more manageable. It also gave time for each painting to dry before I started the next one!
I managed to smarten up and boost two of my lesson plans aimed at a teaching focus around the seaside and industrial beach. This is also great for me, finally beginning to pull my work together, getting some fully complete lesson plans to go with my mini projects.
As well as this I managed to sort out my three boxes, especially looking through and re-organising my research for the projects and lesson planning, making my ideas, intentions and developments a great deal clearer.
A very successful day which has made me feel a lot better about the course of my work heading into the last couple of weeks! :)
