Primitive man discovered that the wool of wild sheep could be made into a versatile material which provided protection from cold, wind, rain and heat. Over thousands of years Technology has kept Wool at the forefront of clothing fabrics. This has led to the development of cloths which are soft, luxurious and beautiful, the basic qualities of Wool are incomprehensible.
The qualities of wool.....
> It reacts to your body temperature, keeping you warm in winter but cool in summer.
> It holds its shape and is long lasting.
> It's strong and durable. A wool fibre can be bent 20,000 times without it breaking.
> Wool is fully biodegradable and easily recyclable.
> It has a naturally high UV protection.
> It absorbs moisture.
> It is easily dye-able, to give a wealth of colour and design possibilities.
