Project Progression

I have now nearly finished my second sketchbook based on drawing development and sampling.

Contrary to many projects where this would be just about the end of my experimentation and development, I now want to explore even further, in larger more ambitious and time consuming samples. This follows previous suggestions from tutors suggesting that larger sample give you a glimpse at how the design/pattern will work and it will give you a chance to feel the fabric, weight, strength etc. this will inevitably effect the final use of the final designs.

For the first time I have planned my time well enough to get to this stage and I am sooo excited by it. I can't wait to delve deeper and have fun taking my work and skill base to the next knowledge.

My first thought is that I need to create a mood board to explore colour, before developing samples from this bringing on my work through stages of refining.
